I have wanted to paint something to replace the Superman over our bed, and I couldn’t think of a place more beautiful than Positano, one of our Honeymoon destinations! It is a beautiful addition to our home, and has as much meaning to us as our Toronto Skyline painting :)
This painting is 30×40″ in Oil Paints.

For Ganesh Chathurti in 2015, I sculpted a Ganesha using air dry clay and painted it using ink & acrylic paint. It was a great project and the Ganesha continues to be displayed in our small mantle :)
I used black ink and water colours to create elephants, which I displayed in a mantle beside my Taj Mahal. I loved the colourful palette and zentagle inspirations :)
This small 4 x 4″ Krishna with his Peacock was inspired by Madhubani Art, and my experimentation with Zentangle & Henna.
Hello all and I hope you had a wonderful Holidays! I wish you all the very best for the New Year :) 2015 was a great year for creativity, but a slow one for blogging. I hope to bring much more art to you in 2016, especially with my new DIY blog at http://www.sris-arts.com, my new pinterest page, and my new instagram page.
Below are a picture of my first Christmas in the condo, complete with beautiful handmade ornaments :)
When I got a tiny condo downtown, I knew it called for some huge dramatic artwork. This 4 feet x 3 feet Toronto Skyline in Oil Paint goes really well with our Chic Toronto theme.
In 2012 when I was just learning how to paint with oils, I had completed this painting, also of a Toronto skyline at night. It has gotten a surprising amount of traffic and is still one of the top hits on google when you search for skyline paintings. It’s amazing to see how far I have come in a few short years, and I hope (for the sake of my reputation as an artist :P) that this painting slowly takes that over!
This 11×14″ Taj Mahal was a colourful interpretation painted in Water Colours. You can see my work in progress below :)
