One of my oldest and closest University Friends got engaged this weekend! Not only was it the first proposal I ever witnessed, but it was also my first flash mob. It was an incredible experience and I am so happy that I was a part of it. I wish them all the happiness in the world :) This card was made on cardstock using acrylic paint and black ink. The “Omega” at the back is a part of a really old nerdy inside joke.
I used my embossing stamps, silver embossing powder, acrylic paint & little crystals I got from Etsy to make this 5×7 card. Ever since I got my Martha Stewart score board, I find that my cards look much more professional :) It’s hard to see the 3D effect of the stamps. I tried to take a picture under light so you can see the full effect. The geometric pattern reminds me of those wooden doors in India.
I created this card using acrylic paint, card stock, and some gold foil from the inside of an old envelope. I used a thick gold acrylic paint and some acrylic medium in order to get some depth into the border. It’s hard to tell in the picture, but the red background shines in the light thanks to hints of gold paint :)
One of my closest & oldest friend celebrates her 25th birthday today! After celebrating almost every birthday together, it’s actually crazy to imagine how old we’ve become and how old our friendship is. After living in the same country for our entire lives, she got an amazing job opportunity in London (England) that she just couldn’t refuse. I decided to make her a card and ship it off to her. I got all of our common friends to contribute a personalized message :) This 5×7 card was made using card-stock & acrylic paint.
Pari, I wish you an amazing year, and all the very best in your fancy international career!
