For as long as i’ve known my husband, he has wanted an Arjuna inspired tattoo but he was never able to pin point the design or style he wanted. As a surprise anniversary present, I designed a tattoo based on everything I knew about him, his style, and his tattoo related ramblings. Design in hand, I took him for his first official Tattoo consultation. Not only was Arjun SUPER surprised, but he loved the design right off the bat! A few weeks and a few tweaks later, and we were back at the tattoo parlour to get inked. It was the most nerve wracking experience to know that there was no going back!
I am so honoured that my husband loved my work enough to put it on his body forever :)
Have you been wondering where all my detailed work is?

I used black paper with Gold & Silver pen to create these fun zentagle bookmarks!
When I got a tiny condo downtown, I knew it called for some huge dramatic artwork. This 4 feet x 3 feet Toronto Skyline in Oil Paint goes really well with our Chic Toronto theme.
In 2012 when I was just learning how to paint with oils, I had completed this painting, also of a Toronto skyline at night. It has gotten a surprising amount of traffic and is still one of the top hits on google when you search for skyline paintings. It’s amazing to see how far I have come in a few short years, and I hope (for the sake of my reputation as an artist :P) that this painting slowly takes that over!
I did a cover of this beautiful song “Heer” from Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Thanks to my Punjabi friends who helped me a lot with the accent, and I apologize in advance for any mistakes :) I don’t speak any Punjabi!
Heer is a song about the stories of Heer-Ranjha & Mirza-Sahebaan. Ranjha left his beloved to get married to someone else, and Heer was forced to marry another man. However, Mirza takes his beloved Sahebaan away on a horse.
In this song, the girl wants to be called Sahebaan instead of Heer, as she is hoping that someone like Mirza takes her away on a horse.
This painting was commissioned by the same friend who commissioned the Superman Painting back in 2013. This painting was definitely a challenge, but I was thrilled with the results! This oil painting is on a 24×36 inch canvas.
We always noticed how similar the tunes of Last Christmas & Dil Mera Churaya Kyun from the movie Akhele Hum Akhele Tum were. My sister Sneha & I decided to put the songs together in a little Bollywood Christmas Cover :)
